Windward Academy would like to congratulate the following kids for the great job they did as ball boys and girls at the Mercedes-Benz Classic, held at Gwinnett Arena May 6th. Shane Apps, Taylor Lefton, Samantha Russell, Madison Umbaugh, Ellen Milsten, and Jenna Brunner all volunteered time and energy to the event. Tennis greats Jim Courier, John McEnroe, Jana Novotna, and Anna Kournikova all participated in the event to raise money for charity. The event helped to support the new Gwinnett Medical Center, which opens in the upcoming months. We are proud to have Windward Academy players giving time and energy to worthwhile community efforts.
